           Čak Noris je američki glumac ali i majstor borilačkih veština (Taekwondo - crni pojas). Rođen je 10. marta 1940. godine u Oklahomi kao sin Vilme i Reja Norisa. Sa 18 godina otišao je u Južnu Koreju gde je vežbao Tang Su Do, veštinu blisku Taekwondo- u. Položio je crni pojas i ubrzo napravio svoju veštinu pod nazivom Čan Kuk Do. To je "hibridna" borilačka veština koja se zasniva na Tang Su Do ali sa elementima Taekwondoa, karatea (šo to kan- a), điu- đice, mau- tai kik boksa, i još nekoliko borilačkih veština.

          Čak Norisovi rezultati na raznim turnirima su za svako poštovanje. Procena je da je njegov rezultat u borbama 183-10-2, sa preko 30 osvojenih turnira. Evo nekih rezultata preuzetih sa wikipedie.

  • 19??: Won North American Karate Championships in New York, New York defeating 12 opponents.
  • 1970: Defeated unknown opponent on January 17th at the Long Beach Sports Arena for the US Team Championship. Norris announced his retirement following the match.
  • 1972: Draw with Willie Adams-U.S. Teams Championship.
  • 1972: Defeated Kenneth Glover at tournament in Bethesda, MD.
